Christmas 2009

Ballon ride in Las Vegas

Livi's 1st Christmas

We hope that you had a wonderful Christmas. We enjoyed being with our family during the holidays. We spent Christmas eve and Christmas early morning with the Carter family. It was fun to see all of the cousins open their gifts. We spent the later part of the morning opening gifts with the Poole side. The Pooles have started a tradition of going to Las Vegas Christmas day to see a show Last year we saw Beetles Love and this year we saw The Variety Show. The show included a tethered hot air balloon ride over the Las Vegas strip. We had a lot of fun. Livi stayed home with Papa Gayle and Grandma Lanett. It was hard to leave her since this was the first night away from her since she was born. I'm sure she was spoiled with Gma and Gpa and all of the cousins. On the 26th we drove from Vegas to Beaver to the yearly Rex Carter family Christmas Party. We had over 70 family members there. It was really crazy with all of the kids running around but really fun to see everyone and visit. Isn't it great to catch up with our loved ones!

Poole Family Update

2009 Poole Family Recap:

Olivia- “Livi” as we call her is the newest addition to our family. She was born July 1st and her birth has been the hardest thing about her. She is the easiest and happiest baby. Exactly what mom needed. She loves her dog “Ellee” and LOVES to eat. She recently has learned to roll over. Dad is impressed with her “barrel rolls”. She loves to snuggle and has brought so much joy into our home. She is indeed a blessing.

Chris started working for New York Life. He is doing well at his newest profession and enjoys helping others with their financial plans and life insurance needs. He loves to tickle Livi and try to get her to giggle. He spends most mornings getting her ready and dropping her off to the babysitter (grandma). He does a good job and is a wonderful dad!

Sara just finished nursing school! Finally! She will be taking her nursing state boards sometime early next year. Sara will be starting a new job working for Dixie Regional Medical Center. She is sad to leaver her 7 year job at Southern Utah Women’s Health Center but is excited for the challenge and experience of her new job. Sara loves being a mom and can’t get enough kisses, loves, and smiles from her little girl.
