Olivia is here! After a hard labor, eight hours of pushing, then a c-section, she came into this world. 7 LB 13 Oz, even though she was three weeks early. We are very glad she did not go full term. Thats a huge baby. During the labor (Sara is AMAZING!) they used the suction cups, this caused internal bleeding under her skin in her head. A subgaleal hemorrhage. This is bad. Her head felt and moved exactly like a zip lock baggy full of water. Very crazy. It is still very tender but not as bad. She had to spend two days in the NICU. Then to break the blood down in her body she needs to be under Bili lights. Otherwise Jaundice will get worse. She is now out of the NICU, but still under the lights. Sadly with her head so tender we are not holding and handling her a lot. So she sits under her lights until we feed her. She does do a great job on eating. We are most likely going to be able to go home tomorrow. She really is doing great! such a good baby not a lot of fussing and barely ever any crying. We will see if she can keep that up.
Tanned Babies are SO hot right now. We wanted to get a jump start on it.

I'm glad all is well now after a rough enterance into the world, not quite what you had planned I'm sure but you guys look like such a happy family. **PS I can handle your program, you didn't get to be with her for the first few days so you should skip work and be selfish with her. You deserve it!!

Hey Sara, its Marcie Lemmon here! I found your blog and wanted to say congrats on your baby girl. We had very similar experience with our baby boy in June .He came 5 weeks early and got the bleeding under the scalp and had to be under the lights for several days and in the NICU for a week.
